Personal gallery within the Gallery???
Can you allow a spefic user that you created a category for have upload privelges. I know i can enable uploads in a specific category but then anyone else could upload to it. It wouldn't be a private upload. I need to know if there's a way to do this. I want to be able to appoint one specific user to be able to upload in one category or several of the sub-categories that may fall underneath it.

If i have understand what you want, you just have to constraint access to the that category to that user. The others users don't have access to that special category so they can not upload picture too!

You can in the administration panel and in the menu category you select public/private to make that category private. And in the User menu you let that special user access the category. Is it clear ?

1 - Admin+Identification+Groups
Create a new group
clic on Permissions icon (Locker)
Select the real category you want.
move it from right to left (from Forbidden to Authorized)
2 - Admin+Identification+Users
Select all users you want
+
Groups:
associate to group = the new group
3 - Admin+Categories+Manage+Edit tool icon (on real categories only, currently)
Access type = private
Lock = No
Comments = Yes/No
Authorize upload = Yes

Group Management doesn't work for me; I can create groups and put members into them using user management, but when I click the padlock I get:
You are not authorized to access this page
Identification
It looks like the id= is missing from those links.
How do I fix that?
