Bootstrap , upgrade to 5. ?
I was wondering if an upgrade to Bootstrap 5 is planned?

Love this theme and its functionality with Bootstrap, but v4 is getting old. just a matter of time before it gets warnings for security and deprecations.

Hi homdax,
This is a good question, at the moment it isn't something that is planned.
I have started looking into the differences with bootstrap 4 and 5. I need to look into this in more detail and talk about this subjet with the team but from what I can gather there would need to be quite a few adjustements to the theme to not loose anything that is currently available with V4.
For exemple Jumbotron is not longer supported in V5 also bootstrap has removed jQuery with V5, among other things. A lot of adjustments would be needed !
I have made a note to talk about this subject and maybe we can add this to the roadmap.

Thank you Hanna, that is most encouraging.
I kinda stumbled over this doing some work on a Mediawiki site, for different purposes, and realized we are so fortunate to have the Bootstrap availability and options in the interface of Piwigo while MW is all cli via composer, which I try to avoid and find very primitive.
