stats

I had some problems with the speed of the history stat's pages and changed some code to improve speed on my 1.5.2 installation. Is anybody working actively on the stats pages ?

Re: stats

Hi,

as it turned out there is a typo in my code, which I found while cleaning up the code and doing a bit more tuning. By fixing the typo the main stats page also loads much faster.  Unfortunately also my fix to hide some bots is in this patch. My new patch is also cleaned up ( old where clauses removed ).

It would be nice to have another way to decide what kind of result to filter. ( ie when someone does not want to see certain info ).
Before I try anything like that, I would like to hear your thoughts on that. I am thinking about adding the HTTP_USER_AGENT string to the history table. And give users the ability to filter history results on predefined selections ( known user-agents ).

Re: stats

Update my patch for 1.6.0 ( not much changed ). I have removed the bot stuff, which i plan to implement in another way.
The patch is here: http://www.sfnet.tv/phpwebgallery/patch … 1.6.0.diff
