Smarty writing files with incorrect permissions.

Hi,

My version is 13.8, PHP is 7.4 I wanted to update my plugins before I update to 14 so my theme is up to date, but when I click on plugins I get this error?

Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: unable to write file /home/bikesnst/public_html/cannardy.com/gallery/_data/templates_c/wrt658d4fbda96ed5_92869776 <-- thrown in /home/bikesnst/public_html/cannardy.com/gallery/include/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_runtime_writefile.php on line 60

I have checked and when these files are created they are 666. All other files in that directory are the correct 644.

I am unsure why it is doing this?

Re: Smarty writing files with incorrect permissions.

As an update I now notice this is happening on multiple admin pages, so my site is pretty much broken until this can be resolved.

Re: Smarty writing files with incorrect permissions.

Do you have some "space left on device"? or "is your disk full" ?

Can you completely delete the _data/template_c directory ?

Re: Smarty writing files with incorrect permissions.

Thanks, you nailed it, the host webdisk was full.
