Hello,
I used to use ploader for several years for image uploading.
Now, after I updated everything to https - ploader doesn't work anymore (tries to connect to http).
If I try to upload from the internal uploader - the upload finishes but not quite...
In the end there's a Cancel button but no OK button.
If I cancel or navigate out - the new album doesn't get created and the new images are only shown in the Recent Photos.
Tried Remote Sync - this one didn't work right either. Only several (smaller?) images got uploaded - the rest generated errors.
How to upload properly?
I would prefer a Windows client similar to pload.

Upgraded to Piwigo 14.
Same story.
- Upload doesn't finish properly.
-- imaged do get uploaded
-- no OK button only Cancel after upload
-- images end up uploaded without being associated to an album (new nor existing)
Also
- if I try to bulk edit a tag, this doesn't work
-- the dialog box tries, flashes but nothing happens. I can only Cancel it...
Please help!

Same issue here. Upload as admin in album settings has the same issue as when uploading over communities. Even as admin.
Any insights or solutions to this?

Apache Error Log showed some interesting things… I'll just post the TLDR version:
Installing libimage-exiftool-perl solves the problem.
Sorry for the double post but imho an solution is always worth a new post.

Depends on your OS. Debian/Ubuntu/Raspbian or similar:
sudo apt-get install libimage-exiftool-perl
