Hi
I deployed piwigo 12 over piwigo 11
It runs but there is a message that the database requires an upgrade.
Running /upgrade.php said everything is up to date
select * from piwigo_config where param = 'piwigo_db_version'; returns 12
how to determine the cause of DB version error?
Visiting admin.php?page=configuration shows the following error
[mysql error 1146] Table 'piwigo_lounge' doesn't exist SELECT image_id FROM pwg_lounge ; #1 my_error /include/dblayer/functions_mysqli.inc.php(132) #2 pwg_query /include/dblayer/functions_mysqli.inc.php(888) #3 query2array /admin/include/functions.php(3273) #4 get_orphans /admin.php(263)
Please advise

open upgrade_feed.php instead of upgrade.php in your web browser.
But you should not "deploy" version 12 (still in beta) over version 11.

@plg thank you
looks like it did the trick
so few observations:
* copying 12rc2 over 11 is successful
* I did remove few files during extraction manually if they did not exist in new code. system may do that automatically through obsolete list, but it is a habit
* I did run upgrade.php when system shown that DB is not up to date, but upgrade_feed.php did the trick
* interestingly enough message in upgrade_feed.php was "0 upgrades to apply"
* at no point site shown that upgrade would be or was performed. Wordpress does show something for it, but I am not saying it is a must
* GreyDragon Theme and plugins I use appears to be working, but I will do further digging before certifying
* Switching on PHP 8 did not cause any issues
Overall, great job, team
PS: Most annoying "feature" in this version is requirement of SMARTY to test all variables. I do not know what genius on their team decided that undefined variables in the template must break it

unfortunately I have to turn PHP 8 off.
SMARTY started coughing and got very sick.
looks like something in last 2 days caused it to die while adding combined scripts in the footer
have to investigate further
same code in 7.4 works just fine

Hi,
also got a
Warning: [mysql error 1146] Table 'piwigo.piwigo_lounge' doesn't exist
but upgrade_feed.php says
upgrade feed is not active
and the Warning remains.

I have the same issue as TOnin :(

a) did you run UPGRADE.PHP to force core upgrade check?
b) looks like with official version upgrade_feed.php may not do much
c) if you upgraded by copying the new version over the existing installation, you need to do a file list check to make sure all redundant files are gone. Compare your installation with a pristine copy of PWG 12. Delete any files in core folders that do not exist in the new version and do not correspond to any drop-in.
d) manually delete _data/cache folder content except for index.htm
e) manually delete _data/combined folder content

I get the same trying to do an automatic upgrade from 11 to 12. Found a french post here:
https://fr.piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=233802
which seems to have fixed it.
