Thanks for clarification.
Now I am asking the developer folks here - is it feasible that an experienced php developer can add the missing functionality within Community plugin by adding a menu tab of allowing registered users to edit text on the "Photo Page". In a way that in the "option"-"configuration" menu on administrator level - the registered user will be shown besides the administrator within "activate icon "edit photo" option?
This is a good idea. It should also apply to albums that members create because (a) the community plugin enables automatic creation of an album for each user on first connection and (b) the Upload page allows users to create a new sub-album.
IMHO, Piwigo would be enhanced significantly if it allowed members to edit the sub-album name and add/edit the description of sub-albums they create.
Note: This enhancement request does not detract from the overall wonderful usefulness of Piwigo.
Cheers!

The whole community plugin - with suggested enhancements above - should be added to Core, I suspect it would be easier to handle and update it if it were.

So I just realized that a Community Member can not control what photo to use as Album thumbnail.
Not with regular access "low trust", not with a bit higher access "high trust".

Today, the so-called community member is in fact just a content supplier, but is not able to manage anything with what he brings. I hope that one day we'll be able to have in Piwigo contributors who can manage content without having to access the container management.
