Introducing a new translation tool... [tests]

Hi all,

Last weeks I worked on a translation tool for Piwigo. Because doing translations on this forum is not really practical and I think ddtddt has other things to do ^^

Actually the comparison engine works like http://piwigo.us/l10n/trunk/tools/trans … alysis.php but my soft also include forms to directly edit language rows and an svn client to merge modifications automatically with the Subversion repository.

Soo, I come here to ask for some volunteers to test the soft, do anything, abuse it, try to crash it ! and report bugs...
If you are in go to http://piwigo.us/dev/mistic100 and sign-up, then I'll give you the translator status.

Please note that for the moment the tool reads files from http://piwigo.us/svn/ that is not up-to-date, and your modifications will not affect the official repository.

Damien.

Re: Introducing a new translation tool... [tests]

I mean, personal note for me, the tool MUST be compatible with multiline rows, don't need to change it in language files

Re: Introducing a new translation tool... [tests]

I've uploaded a new version with an interresting feature : translators can add new languages to sections (only if they have rights to edit this language)
For exemple samli you can go to SmartAlbums section and add Magyar

And I have a question : should I hide sections and languages for a user than can't edit them ?

Re: Introducing a new translation tool... [tests]

as I said the tool is linked to piwigo.us/svn, not piwigo.org/svn, for tests only
within few days I will launch the tool for real operation, but not yet
