Auto upgrading to 2.1.0 failure - write errors

Hello,

I am trying to auto upgrade from 2.0.8 to 2.10 but receive a failure and a whole list of write errors

When I look more closely I see that all the files are owned by ftp and have 777 permissions (Read Write Execute) am not really sure what piwigo expects.

The host is a Windows 2009 server. I am on a Macbook!

Thanks for any help

action.php: write_error
upgrade.php: write_error
profile.php: write_error
identification.php: write_error
picture.php: write_error
admin.php: write_error
search.php: write_error
register.php: write_error
tools/translation_validated.inc.php: write_error
tools/translation_analysis.php: write_error
tools/create_listing_file.php: write_error
tools/piwigo_remote.pl: write_error

Hi frereroy,

And what is the current state of your Piwigo installation? (broken or not?)

If the automatic upgrade can't overwrite files, then I'm afraid you will have to perform a manual upgrade

Re: Auto upgrading to 2.1.0 failure - write errors

Hi,

Thanks for response. Current state of Piwigi is that it is working well.

I will use the manual upgrade method.

(added)  Manual upgrade a success 2.1.0 working fine.

Thanks to all the team!

Re: Auto upgrading to 2.1.0 failure - write errors

You must set privileges  for directories, which are in error log:
e.g.
tools/translation_validated.inc.php: write_error

you must setting write privilege for group
rwxrwxr-x        for            tools/
chmod 775 tools

I set recursive subdirectories :)
chmod -R 775  tools

Before all upgrade I do made backup web and during problem test
- I repared web - copy directories, where is php, tpl, from backup :)
